Heavenly Pillar & 10 Directional Shift

This practice places a strong emphasis on fundamental principles, primarily focusing on standing postures that develop strength and stability. It involves mastering static postures, learning to move with correct weight distribution, and controlling body movement through conscious intent, all while maintaining posture integrity. The standing practice alone imparts a remarkable sense of vitality, liveliness, and poise to your body language, in addition to the benefits of muscle and tendon strengthening. This constitutes just the initial stage of the practice.

The subsequent phase, known as the "10 Directional Shift," serves as a crucial component. It teaches you how to identify the origin of your weight's force from the soles of your feet, how to redirect this pressure in different directions, including downward. It also instructs you on how to leverage your feet for propulsion and how to seamlessly transfer pressure from the ground upward through your lower kinetic chain and into your upper kinetic chain. The lower kinetic chain encompasses the toes, feet, ankles, lower legs, knees, upper legs, hips, pelvis, and spine, while the upper kinetic chain involves the fingers, wrists, forearms, elbows, upper arms, shoulders, shoulder blades, and spinal column.

While this practice is designed to be easy to follow, mastering the precise angles for weight shifting is a challenging task. Initially, the primary goal is to maintain balance and not topple over. As proficiency grows, the practice becomes internally dynamic, enabling you to build strength and skill that can be consciously applied to move the body. It's worth noting that this practice involves moving the body through focused mental intent, although it may not align with conventional notions such as gliding or floating; it's a unique and transformative approach to mind-body connection.

Training Expectations

Your training session requires you to have a quiet space, obviously free from distractions as best as possible. That way you can get the most out of your time. Heavenly Pillar & 10 Directional Shifting session is a 1 hour training session. If you have the ability to record it on your end, please feel free to do so.

Availability is based on Eastern Standard Time, which we will discuss. Be ready 5-10 minutes prior to the live training, and that your mic, headset is working properly. 

​

Payment must be received when requested time is confirmed, by which payment instructions will be included in the confirmation email.
